Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS)?

A Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) is an advanced nutrition credential for practitioners who have completed graduate-level education in nutrition and are trained to provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition care.

To become a CNS, practitioners complete a master’s or doctoral degree in nutrition, pass a comprehensive national board examination, and complete supervised clinical training before becoming board-certified.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes. All appointments are conducted virtually, allowing you to receive personalized nutrition counseling from the comfort of your home.

Do I need lab work before scheduling?

No. If you have recent lab work, I’m happy to review it as part of your nutrition assessment. If not, we can still create a personalized plan based on your health history, symptoms, and goals.

How many appointments will I need?

Every person is different. Some clients benefit from one or two sessions, while others choose ongoing support as they work toward their health goals. Together, we’ll determine a plan that best fits your needs and goals
